Camp Wildfire is the one weekend where I stop worrying about looking silly and let myself fully join in. I am usually shy, self-conscious and allergic to making a scene, but there I talk to strangers, dance, wear ridiculous outfits, hand out gifts and throw myself into things I would normally avoid. I feel seen, safe and celebrated, and after four years I have gone from sneering at the whole thing to booking both weekends for 2027.

Club Fuzzy is back in Nottingham for Halloween after a sweaty first night packed with bears, pups, otters, chasers, fetishwear, drag, dancing and plenty of flirting. Night One proved Nottingham was more than ready for it, so on 31 October we’re heading back into the basement for From Fuzz Till Dawn. Expect good music, hot bears, questionable outfits and exactly the right amount of filthy energy. I’ve already started planning mine. 😈

Rosebay Bear Weekend 2026 was sunny, social and full of bears, first-timers, familiar faces and just enough chaos. After four visits, I finally understand why it sells out so quickly. It is not just the events, it is the atmosphere, the friendships and the strange magic of a weekend where strangers feel like mates by Sunday.

Club Fuzzy launches in Nottingham on Saturday 8 August 2026 at Lord Roberts Prohibition Bar. This independent LGBTQ+ club night brings DJs BaldJoe, Mandy & Friends, drag from Miss Jazz Hot and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
